ENTRY LEVEL DRIVER TRAINING (ELDT)
This training is ONLY available to employers. As part of a Business to Business relationship, DOT Compliance can come and train your employees. This training is NOT available directly to individuals; only to businesses to train their employees.
There are three categories which new CLP holders must receive training, THEORY, BACKING and ON ROAD. Getting your employees their CDL "the old way" is still possible and it does not require them to commit to an entire full time school. DOT Compliance can provide all necessary training for a permit holder to qualify to take their CDL skills test without the financial or time commitment which is needed to attend a lengthy truck driving school.
DOT Compliance is not a school, we are listed on the Training Provider Registry (TPR) through FMCSA as a travelling private trainer and this means that we only conduct only B2B business and come to your location and train your employees on your behalf. We will train your employees for you to provide them with the required skills and knowlege to safely drive a commercial motor vehicle. We'll also, at your location, work with your employees on your equipment so the same equipment that your employees were trainedon, they'll test in. It will be your equipment they have learned to drive and use to take your CDL skills exam.

Mobile training:
DOT Compliance is a Safety Training and Consulting company in South-Central Pennsylvania. We concentrate on driver training and post-incident re-training.
At DOT Compliance, we work closely with the Safety Dept of carriers like yours, to conduct specialized training with drivers in need when it is not practical nor financially feasible to route them to their home terminal. We also come to terminals and conduct larger scale training for multiple drivers, dispatchers or other employees. Conducting this type of remote training can really be a cost effective way to reach of drivers in need.
FAQs
Do I need to have ELD's in my equipment?
Yes. FMCSR's require all operators of Commercial Motor Vehicles to be using ELD's after December 2017. There are some exemptions to this rule, let's get together and discuss if you qualify under an exemption so you can plan accordingly.
CSA SCORECARD AND DATA-Q CHALLENGES
Obtain your CSA Scorecard:
CSA stands for Compliance, Safety, Accountability. It is the safety compliance and enforcement program of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) that holds motor carriers and drivers accountable for their role in safety. This program assesses points to drivers and carriers for most roadside violations.
Drivers keep violations on their record for 3 years and the carrier carries their points for 2 years. Points are time weighted so that they are higher the more recent the violation and as time goes, the time weight drops and they are ultimately less severe. Too often, drivers don't realize that they are penalized for roadside violations by thinking it is just a "warning" because they did not receive a monetary fine. A high number of CSA points can affect your employability or affect your insurance rates.

DataQ Challenges:
After you have received your scorecard, or maybe after your just received a roadside violation, you may find that you have violations that you believe are not deserving of the penalty assessed. Some of us have a blemish on our CSA Scorecard which we believe are undeserved, mis-interpreted or maybe challenged in court and subsequently dismissed.

MOBILE DOT / ANNUAL INSPECTIONS
Mobile Annual Inspections
DOT Compliance is qualified and able to complete your annual inspection on any power unit or trailer. For $90, plus travel fee, per unit, DOT Compliance will come to you to complete your inspection.
