Covid-19 pandemic has affect us all in several different ways. and now, with online training, it is easier than ever to continue to provide training and retraining to our drivers and employees.  

Whether part of orientation or ongoing, incentive based or post-incident retraining, don't fail to conduct driver training using DOT Compliance and ProTread.  We all realize the cost and challenges involved in scheduling the time to have a student and trainer present all while trying to satisfy our customer needs and minimize our chances of service failures all while trying to maintain social distancing standards.  

By using online training, a driver can conduct their training session wherever they are.  Regardless if they are at a customers dock, in the drivers break room or in a classroom setting, they only needs a computer or smart device and an internet connection.  DOT Compliance has begun offering online training to carriers to assist in creating safe minded professional drivers.  Our lessons are short and, upon successful completion, drivers will receive a certificate of successful completion.  Below you will find a list of some of the online courses which will be available soon!

HazMat drivers are required to have FMCSA compliant HazMat training every three years.  You will be able to provide this required training right from this website at a competitive rate!   Every driver will be issued a certificate of successful completion to be added to their training file!

Increase your drivers knowledge base of equipment violations as well as procedures in conducting quality Pre and Post Trip Inspections.  Quality PTI's decrease lost time and undue repair expenses as well as liability by identifying and repairing violations before there is a failure.

One out of every four accidents can be blamed on poor backing techniques and the cost of property damage averages $7,400 per backing crash (National Safety Council).  Drivers can operate tens of thousands of miles annually "forward" but only back one or two miles annually in reverse.  Mitigate this liability and expense by providing training to each and every driver annually.

Whether it is winter, summer, spring or fall ... every season offers different challenges.  Be sure to schedule drivers in training courses to help minimize the chance of loss. 

Federal Regulation §382.603  "Training for supervisors" states:  Each employer shall ensure that all persons designated to supervise drivers receive at least 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and receive at least an additional 60 minutes of training on controlled substances use. The training will be used by the supervisors to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require a driver to undergo testing under §382.307. The training shall include the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse and use of controlled substances. Recurrent training for supervisory personnel is not required.
